Dear Workers of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, Respected Production Veterans, Almalyk Residents!

These days, together with the multinational people of Uzbekistan, we celebrate the beloved spring holiday – the ancient and young Navruz! Symbolizing the renewal of nature, the celebration of life, with wonderful, friendly spirit, this year it is enhanced by the joy of overcoming challenges, demonstrating generosity, unity, respect for elders, and helping those in need through prayer and charity, which, along with a reverence for peace, form the basis of the celebration of the holy Ramadan Hayit.

We celebrate it with a sense of great gratitude to President Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev, whose policy allow us to truly rejoice in these significant events for our people, experiencing them in peace and harmony among all nations and peoples under the clear skies of a blessed land.

Looking at what is happening in many countries today, we begin to especially appreciate the opportunity to raise children without fear for their lives and health, and the conditions for constructive labor, when everyone may work with pleasure, seeing the prospects and results of what’s done.

These days, the workers of AMMC are celebrating the triple holiday – on 16 March, the head of state launched the grand Copper Processing Plant No. 3, a source of pride for our thousands of employees and our gift to all of Uzbekistan for Navruz!

In his speech dedicated to this event, Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that those who build a high-value-added chain in the copper industry will lay the foundation for the industry of the future. A country that creates a sustainable infrastructure for the deep processing of this raw material will bring income to thousands of families, development to the regions, and strength to the state. Therefore, from the very first days of our reforms, we have placed special emphasis on geological exploration, identifying existing reserves and our capabilities for their development. And today, the Complex activities are aimed at achieving these goals.

The heroic and dedicated job of the entire AMMC team that honorably fulfills all the assigned tasks and expands the scope of production modernization and reconstruction programs, enables us to implement the comprehensive social policy. We always pay close attention to veterans of the industry, the families in need of support, and social institutions supported by the Complex. We are carrying out extensive work on construction and reconstruction of the social facilities located in many regions of the country, and we continue to implement the measures aimed at creating favorable working conditions and improving the health of employees and their families.

It's worth noting that our Complex is also an active participant in the nationwide "Yashil Makon" project, which has already planted over 1.5 million trees and other green plantings. We are landscaping and improving Almalyk, our city-forming town, and all the communities where our divisions are located. We are among those who are transforming cities, increasing incomes and improving the standard of living of the country's population.

Keeping pace with the times, the Complex is widely incorporating IT technologies into its activities, expanding the use of artificial intelligence which is studied starting in kindergarten, and developing green energy. We actively engage young people in all matters – workers, engineering and technical staff, and students – both male and female, opening up new opportunities for their professional and academic growth.

Navruz is a celebration of deep recognition of our esteemed elders, a celebration of prospects for those who will shape the future of the republic, in whose hands lies our maturity. The well-being of each of us depends on how we raise our youth and the legacy we leave behind.

I would like to take this opportunity to especially congratulate local government activists on Mahalla Workers' Day, celebrated nationwide on 22 March. The importance and relevance of this public institution, the enormous trust and responsibility placed upon it, is demonstrated by the fact that this year has been declared the Year of Mahalla and Society Development in Uzbekistan.

Each of us lives in a mahalla with neighbors of different nationalities, people of different ages and education levels, working in a variety of fields, some single, some with many children. But everyone is united by love for their native land and a desire to create a prosperous future for the country that will bring stability and prosperity to everyone. We preserve the customs and traditions of all who are willing to share them, and together we share the joy of the New Day.

So may the blessed Navruz, which we celebrate this year under the motto "Glorifying Navruz is glorifying human!", bring peace, goodness, and prosperity to every home! May interethnic harmony, tolerance, friendship, cooperation, and mutual understanding remain the shining symbols of our lives!

May all our ambitious plans be realized, and the lofty goals we set for ourselves be achieved! And may the Almighty accept all prayers offered during the holy month of Ramadan, and may the holiday of Ramadan Hayit bring about the fulfillment of good hopes and aspirations!

In this regard, I would like to urge everyone to pay attention to their mentors, lonely neighbors, and veterans of their industries during these days: take the time to visit, show respect, talk, and involve in the festivities.
