Dear workers of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, the production veterans!

With all my heart I congratulate you on your professional holiday - Mining and Metallurgy Workers Day of Uzbekistan!

This holiday is a symbol of labor courage, resilience and professionalism. Every day you contribute to the development of the metallurgical industry of our country. Your work is not just labor, but a real achievement that requires willpower and endurance, and the ability to work with the latest technologies.

Since its foundation, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex has been distinguished by its reliability, commitment to improvement, and the introduction of new technologies and equipment. All this was achieved by a team of highly qualified specialists.

The AMMC remains the same today, and its importance in the economy of Uzbekistan is difficult to overestimate. Today, everyone working there can be proud of being a participant in the grand events that laid the foundation for its modern history.

And whether it is building new facilities or working to meet production targets, we’re all working to achieve our core goals. The goals were set by the government and personally by the head of our state, on whose initiative we are undergoing transformations on a global scale.

Despite the fact that the truly fateful investment project for the development of the new deposit “Yoshlik I” with the construction of a quarry, processing plants, a copper concentrator and dozens of infrastructure facilities requires from us total dedication, concentration of forces, significant financial investments, our team of professionals copes with all these tasks perfectly.

It should be noted that thanks to your hard work, the production targets for non-ferrous metals are met. In particular, over four months, the production of copper concentrate amounted to 105.3%, and the production of cathode copper from our own raw materials was 116.5%.

All our achievements are also an opportunity to actively participate in government programs aimed at improving the well-being of our citizens, creating decent living conditions for them, favorable conditions for playing sports, developing talents, ensuring health.

In implementing the National Program “Yashil Makon”, the workers of the Complex planted millions of seedlings of fruit and ornamental trees, flower seedlings, and laid kilometers of irrigation pipes. And already now we see how the city streets, the land plots adjacent to the AMMC facilities, and the enterprise territories themselves are being transformed. In addition, we continue to participate in the environmental program, according to which we expand the use of renewable energy sources and develop a “green” economy.

In all these matters, we do not disregard the veterans of our production, the workers of the Complex  and their family members. We began to pay more attention to working women, trying to ensure them not only decent conditions in the workplace, but also to help them in personal fulfillment, in creating of a community that is ready to solve issues of motherhood, childhood, and organization of leisure together.

I want to reiterate that all this is possible only thanks to the dedicated work of the entire AMMC team. And I sincerely thank each of you for your active participation in solving of both production and social issues.

On the eve of the professional holiday of workers in the mining and metallurgical industry, I would like to congratulate our partners and related enterprises, who have every right to share with us the joy of this event.
