With my whole heart, I congratulate you, and through you, your families, on the greatest and most precious holiday for us – the 35^th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan!

We celebrate this significant day under the sublime motto: “Uniting Motherland, Uniting People, We Shall Build a New Life, a New Future!”

35 years is just a moment in the scale of history, but for our people it has become an entire era of rapid growth.

Thanks to the large-scale reforms implemented in the country over the past decade, today the whole world recognizes: Uzbekistan is developing steadily and comprehensively, building its strength and potential every day.

Let me give you just one example: if in 2016 our Complex produced 105 thousand tons of copper, then this year this figure will reach 172 thousand tons – an increase of 164%. The production of gold will also increase significantly – by 141%, and silver – by 165%.

Concern for the well-being of the people and human dignity today is no longer just a slogan, but a living reality. “People’s Reception Offices”, established in all districts and cities, have become a true bridge of trust between the state and citizens.

The digitalization of public services has created a completely new, effective mechanism for interaction between government and society. It is this trust that is the foundation of a strong state.

Thanks to the widespread adoption of information technology in the economy and social sphere, the use of artificial intelligence has become an integral part of our daily lives.

The digitalization program, implemented since 2018, has enabled us to create a unified digital model of our deposits and establish online management of enrichment and metallurgy processes. This, in turn, boosted the active implementation of artificial intelligence programs in production. Suffice it to say that since the beginning of this year alone, the Complex specialists have received approximately twenty copyright certificates in this area.

But perhaps most importantly, despite the extremely complex geopolitical situation and global upheavals, peace, calm, and stability continue to reign in Uzbekistan. And we are able to live and work under such a peaceful sky precisely thanks to the wise, far-sighted policies of our President.

Today, in New Uzbekistan, industry plays a crucial role in sustainable economic development, improving the population’s well-being, and strengthening the country’s competitiveness. In particular, the Copper Concentrator No. 3, commissioned this year by the President, has significantly increased the Complex production capacity and serves to deepen the processing of copper raw materials, increase export volumes, and create new jobs.

It is notable that the heads of large foreign companies who visited this facility noted: “If you want to learn how to build a modern copper concentrator, come to Uzbekistan”.

The Complex team continues to implement investment projects and is accelerating construction of Copper Concentrator No. 4, as well as a new metallurgical complex. We are confident that these facilities will also be commissioned on time and to a high standard. This will be our worthy contribution to the industrial development in New Uzbekistan.

It is especially worth noting that the Complex workforce also consistently supports the social sphere. This year, the “Dukent” cultural and sports complex in Angren was completely reconstructed and brought into line with modern requirements. Streets, mahallas and public gardens of Tashkent region and Almalyk have been improved.

Behind all these good deeds lies one great goal: to ensure the well-being of our people and bring prosperity and joy to every home. After all, it is the modern appearance of our cities and villages that determines, above all, the prosperity of the country and the potency of our Motherland.

We are rightfully proud to celebrate this cherished holiday with significant labor victories and significant performance!

Independence is the right to be aware of oneself, to decide own destiny and to live with head held high on the world stage. This blessing did not come easy to us: it is based on the dreams, aspirations, hard work and dedication of many generations of our ancestors. Therefore, we must value every day, every moment of independence as worth its weight in gold. The prosperity of the Motherland, its place among the most developed countries in the world, depends solely and exclusively on our current aspirations. Our work and our resilience will make the country even more powerful and its independence eternal.

On this significant day, our joy was doubled by the fact that a group of our Complex leading workers were awarded high state orders and medals. These awards are the result of our common work, our unity and our desire to jointly strengthen the economic strength of our country.

The AMMC team will continue to focus all its knowledge, strength, and energy on introduction of new production capacities, acceleration of digital transformation, and further development of our beloved homeland.
