Dear Youth – the Pride of our Motherland, Town, Factory!

I sincerely congratulate you on the Youth Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan – a holiday that embodies fortitude, energy, beauty and the desire for perfection!

In the country, under the leadership of the head of our state, all conditions are being created for comprehensive support of the younger generation. Today's youth is not just hope, but a real driving force of progress, confidently mastering science, innovation and high technology. It is you who determine the future of our Motherland.

Especially today, in the era of large-scale reforms and rapid changes, the country needs proactive, responsible, energetic and dedicated young specialists more than ever. After all, only with your active participation can we build a truly bright and worthy future.

Today, more than 10 thousand young workers work at AMMC. Of these, almost 1,500 have higher education, and 872 already occupy managerial and engineering and technical positions.

The plant actively cooperates with universities in Uzbekistan and abroad. As a result of this partnership, 180 graduates of various educational institutions are already working at our enterprises. Another 95 young specialists continue their education: 88 – in domestic universities, 7 – abroad.

I can say with confidence that the Complex's youth are among the most promising. Because you have the honor of being at the center of the largest, strategically important investment projects in the mining and metallurgical industry. You do not just watch what is happening – you implement advanced technologies yourselves, master unique production processes, gain valuable experience, develop professionally and personally.

The project to develop the “Yoshlik I deposit” – one of the world's largest open pit mines – the construction of a high-tech factory, the implementation and study of the latest technologies – all this has become a real school of skill and professional growth for our young specialists.

To train qualified personnel, the plant has created an engineering school – a platform for the formation of a new generation of specialists capable of thinking creatively, taking responsibility and moving production forward through modernization and innovation.

In addition, at the initiative of the head of state, the Advanced Engineering School is being created jointly with the University of Science and Technology and the Almalyk branch of MISiS. It will train highly qualified specialists who are capable of not only identifying current industrial problems, but also offering accurate, practical solutions.

We attach particular importance to supporting the initiatives of young workers, their personal growth and the development of their intellectual and creative potential. Rationalization proposals aimed at increasing energy efficiency and resource conservation are supported and encouraged. A striking example is the work of the team for the automation of production processes at the copper processing plant, which proposed effective solutions for reducing water and gas consumption, which have already been implemented in production.

Social support for young people is also in the center of our attention. This year, the work continues to provide young specialists with housing on preferential terms in new apartment buildings in the Yangi Uzbekiston housing estate in Almalyk.

Today, a new generation is being formed in our country – worthy, strong, ready to continue great transformations and build a free, prosperous life.
