Dear workers of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, dear military and industry veterans!

I sincerely congratulate you on the Day of Defenders of the Motherland and the 33rd anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Today, in the context of many disagreements and conflicts occurring in the world, we increasingly realize how important the role of the national army is, which protects the borders of our country around the clock and ensures the safety of the population.

The current geopolitical situation requires further strengthening of our defense positions. Thanks to the reforms carried out in the national army under the leadership of the head of our state, the armed forces of the country have become a highly effective military structure equipped with modern weapons and ready to respond promptly in any conditions.

In confirmation of this, I would like to note the data recently published by the website "global firepower". According to the rating, the army of Uzbekistan took 58th place among 145 countries, improving its position compared to 2024, when it was in 65th place. This, of course, makes us proud.

Today, many young men strive to fulfill their duty in the ranks of the national army. For thousands of our sons, it has become a real school of courage, dedication and true patriotism.

People say: "Freedom must be defended not only by soldiers, but also by a united people." The unity of the people and the army gives our country strength and power, ensuring its stable development.

Unity is the main guarantee of our peaceful and prosperous life. It is expressed in strong relations between the people and the army, as well as in strengthening the power of the national army, which is possible thanks to the selfless work of our servicemen.

In this regard, I express special gratitude to the servicemen of the military unit of the troops for the protection of categorized objects of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, serving in the units of the copper complex of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Plant. Thanks to you, your tireless service, which you carry out with honor, despite the summer heat and winter cold, security and order are ensured at the categorized objects of the plant.

II would also like to note the work of the employees of the departmental paramilitary security, who serve around the clock at the facilities of more than 36 structural divisions of our enterprise. Today, the workforce of the departmental paramilitary security consists of professionals with modern knowledge, high spiritual and moral qualities, excellent physical training and combat skills, ready to fulfill their duty even in the most difficult conditions.

in addition, the labor collectives of the Almalyk specialized prosecutor's office and the Tashkent region police department at the AMMC deserve recognition and praise, which are actively working to prevent offenses in the plant's divisions.
