Young men and women are the prospects of our country, our town and our plant!

Please accept my heartiest congratulations on Youth Day of Uzbekistan!

Today, under the leadership of our esteemed President, the country is consistently implementing a national policy aimed at comprehensive support of the younger generation. Active, driven young men and women, striving for knowledge and mastering scientific achievements and modern technologies, are becoming the locomotive of the development of the New Uzbekistan. The state places great hopes on such young people – educated, proactive, responsible and devoted to their homeland. After all, the future of our country largely depends on your knowledge, your work and your determination.

Currently, 9,313 young specialists work at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex. Among theme, 1,659 persons have higher education, and 657 young specialists occupy management and engineering positions. These figures clearly demonstrate the high level of trust that the Complex places in its young staff.

Our Complex successfully cooperates with leading higher education institutions in Uzbekistan and abroad. Today, 176 young specialists who graduated from these educational institutions work at the Complex enterprises. In addition, more than 30 young workers continue their training supported by the Complex: 26 persons study at universities in our country, and another 5 - at foreign universities. In addition, under the Complex recommendation, 383 of our employees are studying at higher education institutions.

We are truly proud of the capacities of our youth. A clear confirmation of this is the fact that the most modern technological equipment of the recently commissioned Copper Concentrator No. 3 is successfully managed by our young specialists.

We also pay great attention to the professional development of young staff. At the Complex engineering school, young specialists gain modern knowledge under the guidance of leading world professors. The Advanced Engineering School, opened at the Almalyk branch of MISIS University on the initiative of the head of our state, also plays an important role in training of highly qualified engineers.

The Complex consistently supports talented young people, their ideas and initiatives. Particular attention is paid to research and development and rationalization proposals aimed at increasing of energy efficiency and improvement of production processes. Along with this, one of our priorities is still social support for young workers.

We were all particularly proud of a recent event: in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On awarding of a group of active and proactive representatives of the younger generation on the occasion of Youth Day”, Ozoda Yunusova, a flotation operator at the grinding and flotation shop of the copper concentrator, was awarded the “Kelajak Bunyodkori” (“Creator of the Future”) medal. This is a high assessment of her work and a well-deserved recognition of the achievements of our youth.

Once again, I heartily congratulate you on Youth Day – a holiday that marks the most wonderful, creative, and energetic period of life!

Your striving for new knowledge, creative approach to business, and desire to conquer new heights are the most important driver for development of the Complex. Never rest on your laurels, improve your knowledge, constantly work on yourself, and boldly pursue your highest goals.

I wish you good health, happiness, prosperity, new professional successes and great achievements. Let each of your victories become a source of pride not only for you, but for our entire Complex and our country.
