Dear railway workers of AMMC!

Dear veterans of the industry!

I sincerely congratulate you - railway workers and engineers, machinists and repairmen, veterans of UPZhT on the Day of Railway Transport Workers of the Republic of Uzbekistan!

It is impossible to overestimate your role and contribution to the further increase of the economic potential of our enterprise, the fulfillment of our common tasks for the production of precious and non-ferrous metals, the construction and commissioning of a number of large industrial facilities.

Today, the workforce of the Industrial Railway Transport Department numbers 2,548 employees, 564 veterans of production are surrounded by attention and care. The work of the best representatives of the team was recognized not only by certificates and valuable gifts from AMMC, but also by high awards of the Motherland: three people were awarded the “Dustlik” order, one - the “Shukhrat” medal, 50 - the “Miner’s Glory” badge, one worker - the “Mutabar Ayol” badge. The awarding of such awards is, of course, a high assessment of the work by the head of state and the management of AMMC.

It is worth noting that thanks to their professionalism and dedicated work, the team of the industrial railway transport department, celebrating its holiday on the eve of the 33rd anniversary of the independence of our country, successfully copes with all the tasks set before it.

Thus, in the first half of 2024, the forecast for the transportation of rock mass was fulfilled by 100.2%, ore - by 104.7%, the forecast for the total freight turnover was almost fulfilled.  As part of the implementation of the Localization Program, import-substituting products worth 5.5 billion soums were produced, the forecast was fulfilled by 111.0%. About 1.0 kilometers of new railways were built and 9.3 kilometers of railways were overhauled.

The railway workers are actively involved not only in the process of transportation, major and current repairs of railway equipment and infrastructure, but also in the implementation of investment projects. In particular, in recent years, several new railway facilities have been built and commissioned by the efforts of the UPZhT workers. The construction of a new railway base on the territory of the Svintsovaya station is nearing completion; it will be commissioned on the eve of Independence Day.

In addition, within the framework of the investment project “Development of the Yoshlik I deposit”, construction of the Novy Razyezd and Karyernaya railway stations has begun.

During the celebration of Railway Workers’ Day, I express my sincere gratitude to the UPZhT team for the high quality of their work! You are distinguished by high qualifications and professionalism aimed at implementing the tasks set and achieving the best results! I am confident that you will continue to be among the best units that the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Plant is proud of.
