Dear youth!

I sincerely congratulate you, the representatives of the younger generation, the masters of our future, on your holiday - the Youth Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan!

As our head of state Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized, mastering of modern knowledge, science and high technologies today becomes a decisive factor in the development of any state. Being deeply aware of this fact, our country is making every effort and opportunity to ensure that the younger generation is growing up spiritually rich, physically healthy and morally mature.

It is worth noting individually that in recent years one of the important tasks is to identify talented young men and women. All the necessary conditions are created for this in each region. 

Today, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex employs more than 35,000 people, of whom 11,453 (almost 11.5 percent) are young people. More than 100 of them hold leadership positions. The fact that most of them strive to master modern science and high technologies to perfection is also pleasing.

I am a little envious of our young people, who, having obtained higher education, work in the structural subdivisions of the Complex. After all, we try to create all conditions for professional growth, realization of potential, as well as creative abilities, physical training and sports. This year we’d organized an engineering school and began building it. Thanks to cooperation with a number of European universities young specialists of the Complex have the opportunity to improve their knowledge and skills abroad, to study in master’s and doctoral programs. For example, this year specialists were sent to the Freiberg Mining Academy in Germany for postgraduate studies.

In order to reveal the potential and talents of young people at AMMC, various professional skill contests and sports competitions are held on a regular basis. Winners are assigned to supervisors to improve their skills and build leadership skills and qualities. In this way, a leadership pool is created.

Today the Complex needs highly educated, ambitious, modern-minded specialists with a firm position. After all, the government of the country has set us ambitious tasks, the implementation of which we are dealing with now and you will have to deal with it - the current fledgling specialists and workers. We are developing a new deposit, building new concentrators, and expanding metallurgical production to process the mined ore. And by all means everything that has been started will be brought to an end, because we do it together with you, with the people before whom the future of the plant and the future of our country lies!

Congratulating you on the holiday - Youth Day, I wish you to justify the high trust of our people, our President! Be active citizens of your country - take part in all directions of development of our society, using your knowledge, modern approach, your forces and aspirations!

Once again, congratulations to you all on the holidays! Health to all of you, great victories in all your endeavors!
