These days our people widely celebrate May 9 - the 80th anniversary of the Victory over fascism in World War II and the Day of Remembrance and Honor.
I sincerely congratulate our dear participants in the war, who today represent moral and physical fortitude for all of us, on this significant date, as well as our compatriots who provided the rear and, in the most difficult conditions, continued to work in the name of Victory.
Bowing before your courage, on behalf of all the workers of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine, the people of Almalyk, I would like to express to you deep respect and sincere gratitude for your contribution to the Victory.
Our people will never forget the severe suffering, losses and numerous victims that the Second World War brought to our people. And today we, like all subsequent generations, bow our heads before you, our dear war veterans and participants in the labor front, before your courage, dedication, and heroism. We will always remember to whom we owe our full, peaceful life today.
This year the 9th of May - Day of Remembrance and Honor, is widely celebrated in our country under the motto “Heroism in the name of prosperity, peace and defense of the Motherland will not be forgotten.” Participants of World War II and persons who became disabled as a result of the war, and participants of the labor front are awarded jubilee medals for the 80th anniversary of Victory in World War II.
In anticipation of the holiday, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine also holds traditional events to provide material and moral support to veterans, organizing visits to the elderly, their health improvement, repairs and improvement of their homes. Elderly people living in the Sakhovat and Muruvvat houses are not disregarded either.
In honor of the Day of Remembrance and Honor, AMMC is preparing gifts for war and labor veterans, participants in the Afghan war and the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl accident, as well as lonely and low-income labor veterans.
Dear veterans!
I express to you, my dears, my deep gratitude for your military and labor heroism, for your colossal dedication in the post-war years!
We consider you to be true heroes of our people and are immensely proud of you!
Taking this opportunity, I wish you good health! I wish you to see the happiness and well-being of your children and grandchildren, remaining for us a source of kindness, comfort, and spiritual strength!
May peace, harmony and tranquility reign in our country!
