On 16 June of this year, at the initiative of the Youth Union and the trade union committee of the Copper Processing Plant, the professional skills competition for the "Best Young Welder 2026" was held among young employees of the plant.

In the first stage, the participants demonstrated their theoretical knowledge of their specialty. Following the qualifying round, eight contestants who successfully completed the tests were awarded the right to continue competing.

The second stage was practical in nature. Participants had to complete a series of tasks related to welding and the practical application of professional skills.

Davron Kuchkorov, the welder in the repair and mechanical section, took third place, while Jasur Isomiddinov, the welder in Crushing and Processing Complex No. 2, took second place. Shakhzod Mamatkulov, the welder in the copper-molybdenum concentrate selection and drying shop, was recognized as the winner of the competition and the title of "Best Young Welder 2026."

The winners of the competition were awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts from the factory's trade union committee.
