On 10 February this year, at the initiative of the Copper Processing Plant's trade union committee and with the support of the Youth Union, the professional skills competition for "Best Instrumentation and Automation Mechanic 2026" was held among the plant's employees.

The competition consisted of two stages. In the first stage, the participants demonstrated their theoretical knowledge of their specialty. Following this, the eight competitors with the best results were admitted to the second stage.

During the second stage, the participants completed tasks related to automation and instrumentation, demonstrating their professional skills and practical experience.

Maftuna Ergasheva, the employee of Crushing and Processing Complex No. 2, took third place. Second place went to Muhammadsaid Sharofiddinov, the employee of the Automated Process Control Systems Service. Eldor Khasanov, the employee of the copper-molybdenum concentrate selection and drying shop, won the competition and the title of "Best Instrumentation and Automation Mechanic."

The competition winners were awarded commemorative gifts from the trade union committee.
