+998 71 619 23 33On December 18 of this year, a youth job fair was held at the "Metallurg" Palace of Culture, aimed at ensuring youth employment, providing vocational and modern skills training, as well as placing unemployed youth in lucrative jobs abroad through organized labor migration.
The event was organized in collaboration with the Tashkent regional administration, the State Security Service, the regional departments of the Youth Affairs Agency, and JSC "Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex."
The event was attended by Otabek Sultonbekov, the Deputy Governor of Tashkent region for Youth Policy, Social Development and Spiritual and Educational Affairs, Qobil Hamdamov, the Mayor of Almalyk city, Sa'di Shermatov, the Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC "Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex" for Human Resources and Social Issues, as well as other officials responsible for the sector.
During the event, young people were provided with comprehensive information about job vacancies in large industrial enterprises, organizations, and institutions operating in the Tashkent region.
At the "Job Vacancy" fair, organized for 670 young people from 22 districts and cities of the region, 80 prominent large enterprises of the region participated, offering 4,250 job vacancies.
Employers offered vacant positions in the fields of industry, manufacturing, engineering, technical, and service sectors.
In particular, JSC "Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex" presented information on stable and promising job opportunities, decent working conditions, and professional development prospects for young people.
Specifically, the youth of Tashkent region were provided with comprehensive information about the Training Center and Engineering School operating at the complex. The region's youth learned about opportunities to acquire specialties that are currently in high demand in industrial enterprises within a short period at these educational facilities. Notably, the Engineering School has organized advanced training courses in 11 fields, with 460 young people currently enhancing their skills in various areas. Additionally, 15 unemployed youth from disadvantaged areas of Urtachirchik district and Nurafshan city, who have been assigned to the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, are being directed for training in various professions. Furthermore, it was highlighted that the Training Center of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex will annually accommodate 1,500 young people by offering training in 17 fields that are in high demand in the labor market. It was emphasized that graduates of this training center are guaranteed to become skilled professionals in their respective fields.
As part of the job fair, a meeting between youth and industry leaders was also organized. During this meeting, young people's questions regarding employment, career choices, working conditions, and opportunities to work abroad were addressed.
The speakers emphasized that youth employment is one of the priority areas of state policy and highlighted the significant role such fairs play in the lives of young people. They encouraged the youth to be proactive, make effective use of available opportunities, and acquire modern professional skills.
The head of the Tashkent regional branch of the Migration Agency also participated in the event, providing detailed information on organized, legal, and safe labor migration.
It was noted that the state has established a system of legal protection, official labor contracts, medical insurance, and vocational training for young people wishing to work abroad. This system serves to protect young people from illegal intermediaries and various risks.
The Tashkent regional branch of the Migration Agency provided information on a total of 23,213 job opportunities available at foreign enterprises, offered through the xorijdaish.uz platform, aimed at facilitating organized migration for young people. They also announced the commencement of free German language courses in the city of Almalyk for citizens interested in working in Germany.
Leaders provided detailed answers to issues of interest to the youth, offering specific explanations and recommendations for resolving existing problems on the spot.
Such open dialogues serve to further strengthen trust between young people and government agencies.
