In addition to the fulfillment of the most important priorities of the socio-economic development program, the staff of Almalyk MMC JSC ensured the production of marketable products in 2023:
- in current prices – by 106.1%.
The output of copper cathode amounted to 97.7%, including from own raw materials 100.4%, metallic zinc 82.0%, including from own raw materials 101.4%, sulfuric acid 93.3%, refined gold 100.1% and refined silver 100.7%
For 2023, the export forecast was fulfilled by 102.5%.
In accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 30, 2021 No. PP-72 “On approval of the investment program of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 and the introduction of new approaches and mechanisms for managing investment projects” for Almalyk MMC JSC, as well as the appendix of the resolution No. 459 dated December 28, 2022, Almalyk MMC JSC is implementing investment projects for 2023 aimed at increasing the production and processing capacity of raw materials with the development of capital investments worth 1,106.7 million US dollars.
For the reporting period, investments worth 1,128.2 million US dollars (101.9%) were disbursed, including with the use of:
the enterprise's own funds – 234.5 million USD;
direct foreign loans – 893.8 million USD.
Pursuant to the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 24, 2022 No. PP-99 “On measures to create an effective system for the development of production and expansion of industrial cooperation in the republic”, as well as on the basis of order of the Chairman of the Board of Almalyk MMC JSC No. 94 dated January 31, 2022, 137 projects for the total amount of 332.6 billion UZS are planned to implement at AMMC in 2023.
For the reporting period, the output of localized products under 147 projects was 429.0 billion UZS or 119.9% to the forecast.
A set of organizational and technical measures has been developed to reduce production costs for 2023, providing for a reduction in production costs by 377.5 billion UZS or 3.2%.
The estimated result from the implementation of a set of measures to reduce production costs in 2023 is 404.7 billion UZS, or 3.4%.
The Complex carries out activities aimed to improve management, strengthen the financial and economic situation and monitor the reduction of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
The expected accounts receivable as of January 1, 2024 will amount to 4,832.9 billion UZS, accounts payable - 2,277.6 billion UZS.
There are no arrears to the budget and of wages.
In accordance with the program for technical training of employees, 6,618 employees got advanced training of workers, including 1,413 employees got off-the-job training, 2,188 employees were retrained and mastered a second profession, 2,433 employees got advanced training and retraining of managers and specialists, including 860 employees got off-the-job training.
Almalyk MMC JSC cooperates with 10 universities in the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Almalyk branch of NUST MISIS of the Russian Federation in training specialists with higher education.
Currently, the total number of students is 189, of which 11 students study full–time and 178 students study in correspondence and part-time education departments of universities.
In total, 1,639 people were employed during the reporting period, including 782 college graduates, 553 graduates of higher educational institutions and 304 people without higher education.
Department for monitoring the execution of instructions from superior organization has been established as part of the Executive Office of Almalyk MMC JSC which establishes procedure for systematic and critical analysis of the state of performance discipline in order to timely implement instructions from superior organizations and improve the performance discipline monitoring system.
Throughout the entire period, activities aimed to introduce a reporting system and control over the execution of documents on time, analyze the progress of implementation of Laws, enactments of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Government resolutions at the local level are carried out. According to the action plan of the Complex, reports are prepared with analytical statements.
Systematic work is being carried out to critically analyze the implementation of its own decisions, identify shortcomings and develop specific measures to eliminate them.
In 2023, 689 enactments were registered in total, including:
enactments and instructions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan – 159 (decrees – 4, resolutions – 21, order – 1, protocols – 16, instructions of the Presidential Administration – 117);
enactments and instructions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan – 527 (resolutions – 15, orders – 20, protocols – 86, instructions of the Prime Minister, its deputies and advisers - 260, instructions of the secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers – 146).
