Main tasks and functions of the Department:

• Formation and ensuring the implementation of the Program for the localization of production of finished products, components and materials of the Complex.
• Annual preparation and further approval of the activities schedule for the implementation of projects of the Localization Program for the reporting year.
• Implementation of timely and systematic monitoring of the implementation of the Production Localization Program in accordance with the activities schedule.
• Preparation and submission of necessary reporting documents to superior organizations.
• Study of the production technology of products manufactured under the Localization Program.
• Presentation of products manufactured under the Localization Program at industrial fairs.
• Conducts, together with departments, services and divisions of the complex, an analysis of imported products in order to study the possibility of its prospective production in existing or new facilities of the Complex.
• Based on the analysis of imported products, develops proposals for the development of production of new types of localized products. As agreed with the Complex management, prepares and sends a package of documents to the appropriate higher organizations for inclusion in the Complex localization program.
• Annual preparation activities schedule for the implementation of the Localization Program for the reporting year. The developed activities schedule, after coordination with the Complex management, is sent to the superior organizations for further approval.
• Monitors the progress of the Localization Program, with a detailed study of possible problematic issues and the development of proposals for their elimination.
• Ensures the formation of a database of problematic issues identified by the results of monitoring the implementation of the Localization Program, in order to further solve them together with the chief specialists and heads of departments of the Complex.
• Prepares and sends, if necessary, a package of documents on making adjustments to the approved localization program to the appropriate superior organizations.
• Provides timely control and execution of documents of superior organizations, as well as orders, instructions and directives of the Complex and immediate supervisor.
• Ensures quality and timely provision of information on the implementation of the Localization Program to superior organizations.
• Provides quarterly statistical reporting on the Localization Program to the statistical authorities of the republic.
• Studies the production technology of products manufactured under the Localization Program.
• Presentation of products manufactured under the Localization Program at industrial fairs.

Key objectives:

• Implementation of export and tolling agreements, as well as processing agreements on the domestic market.
• Development and implementation of measures aimed at increasing the volume of export deliveries with countries of near and far abroad and expanding the sales market for products of JSC Almalyk MMC.
• Organization and implementation of official visits of delegations of foreign companies. Providing visa support to representatives of foreign companies.
• Fulfillment of the requirements of the QMS Quality Manual.
• Timely introduction and execution of material balances for copper products, zinc metal and sulfuric acid.
• Provision of contracts for the sale of finished products for republican consumers.
• Feedback from consumers.
