+998 71 619 23 33On 11 June, AMMC zinc smelter hosted the meeting between the plant's management and young employees as part of Youth Month and the "Thursday – Youth Day" project. The event was organized to support young professionals and create a platform for open and constructive dialogue.
Azamat Mavlonov, Advisor on Youth Issues to the Chairman of the Board of JSC “Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex”, and Farrukh Utanov, Director of the Zinc Smelter, participated in the meeting.
Addressing the participants, Azamat Mavlonov emphasized that today's country offers wide opportunities for the self-realization of the younger generation, and it is important to utilize these opportunities effectively. He noted that in recent years, the state has consistently supported youth initiatives and innovative startup projects, opening up additional opportunities for young people to develop their knowledge, talents, and intellectual potential.
Farrukh Utanov, Director of the Zinc Smelter, shared his life and professional experiences with the young employees. He spoke about the difficult period the plant experienced after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the difficulties in production and economic matters, and the dedicated work of the team that enabled it to overcome these challenging times. Furthermore, analyzing current geopolitical and social processes unfolding globally, the plant's director urged young people to remain vigilant, critically perceive incoming information, and resist the influence of destructive ideas.
Particular attention was paid to respect for parents and family values. It was emphasized that every young professional should strive to maximize the opportunities created and make a worthy contribution to the development of society and the state.
During the meeting, the results of the intellectual game "Zakovat," held among young plant employees as part of Youth Month, were also summarized. Teams from the transport, baking and cadmium shops won prizes for demonstrating a high level of knowledge, erudition, and teamwork.
The winners and runners-up of the intellectual tournament were presented with diplomas and commemorative gifts by the plant's management and trade union committee.
The meeting was held in an open and friendly atmosphere, allowing young employees to receive valuable advice, exchange opinions, and pose questions to the plant's management.
