Within the production system of Copper Concentrator Plant-3, the specialized repair and assembly shop plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliable operation of major technological equipment. The unit is responsible for the scheduled preventive maintenance, assembly, adjustment, and installation of key machinery, thereby maintaining the continuous and stable performance of the plant’s production processes.

The main task of the shop is to repair, assemble, calibrate, install, and mount essential technological equipment with high quality and within established deadlines, relying on the expertise of skilled specialists. The shop’s workers also carry out regular technical inspections of operating machinery and perform prompt repair work whenever needed.

Currently, the shop employs 11 engineering and technical specialists and 69 experienced workers, all of whom are highly qualified professionals directly involved in the commissioning, adjustment, and installation of core technological equipment at the plant.

So far, the team has successfully installed numerous key technological systems. Among their achievements are the assembly and installation of metal structures for the coarse crushing section, the mounting of a medium cone crusher shaft, the installation of bunker linings, and the assembly of stairways and screening body structures — all completed with high precision and quality.

In addition, the team has carried out the installation and commissioning of MShS 7.3×13.0 mills in the crushing and flotation sections, as well as the assembly and startup of Larox PF 144/156 M60 press filters from “Metso Outotec” in the copper-molybdenum concentrate filtration section.

The specialists have also achieved notable results in assembling and installing the metal structures of transfer conveyors and bunkers, as well as the belt conveyors in the fine crushing section. These accomplishments further reinforce the shop’s key role in ensuring efficient and uninterrupted production processes at the plant.

Thanks to the activities of the specialized repair and assembly shop, the technological equipment of Copper Concentrator Plant-3 is kept in a constant state of operational readiness. As a result, the service life of equipment is extended, and emergency shutdowns are prevented, ensuring uninterrupted, stable, and reliable production across the plant.
