The 50th International Handball World Cup “Interamnia”, held from July 4 to July 15, ended in Teramo, Italy.

Teams from 46 countries participated in this prestigious international tournament. It is noteworthy that the honor of our country was worthily defended by handball players of AMMC led by of Khasan Kayumov.

In particular, among men’s teams in the age category of 21 and older our athletes won the World Cup “Interamnia”, defeating teams from China (“Tsinghua university”), India (“INDIA HHC”), Algeria (“Crea El Harrouch”), Madagascar (“Madagaskar J. A.P.”), Italy (“Cus unite lions Teramo”), Kazakhstan (“Turan S.C.”), Tunisia (“Veteran hammamet”), Thailand (“Veteran hammamet”), Taiwan (“Taiwan university”) and Palestine (“Nady Shahab Azoun”).
