Representatives of BGRIMM Technology Group visited AMMC

Delegation of “BGRIMM Technology Group” company (People’s Republic of China) visited Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex on August 3-4 of the current year.

On the first day the guests visited a number of structural subdivisions of the Complex. These are Kalmakyr mine, Yoshlik I deposit, copper concentrators Nos. 1, 2, 3, pilot concentrating plant (PCP) of the Technological Center for Development and Implementation of Innovative Technologies and copper smelter.

On the second day, specialists and responsible persons of AMMC and representatives of the delegation discussed the implementation of the approved “Road Map”, as well as additional topics of joint work. In particular, the issues of research and development of technology of processing of oxidized and non-commercial ores of “Kalmakyr” deposit were considered.

The parties came to an agreement on improvement of flotation machines on the example of РИФ-45 and one cascade of 3-monosection Copper Concentrator, as well as on the issue of continuation of tests of “BGRIMM.MAT” reagents under the conditions AMMC, for two of them it is planned to conduct semi-industrial tests at Pilot Concentrating Plant.

At the same time, the issue of application of “BGRIMM Technology Group” mining equipment in underground mines of AMMC was considered. Representatives of “BGRIMM Technology Group” expressed their interest in participating in the tender for the construction of a slag concentrator.

In addition, the Chinese company is planning to prepare relevant technical proposals for the mobile laboratory for pilot concentrating plant of Technological Center for Development and Implementation of Innovative Technologies.

For reference, “BGRIMM Technology Group” has won a contract based on the results of the tender for the selection of the best proposals for the provision of services to optimize the production procedures for the processing of industry-related oxide ores waste.
