Fruitful cooperation has been established between the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine and a number of foreign and domestic universities.

As part of the interaction, an educational introductory practice was recently organized for second- and third-year students at the Faculty of Geology of Mineral Deposits of the University of Geological Sciences.

During the event, organized by the AMMC training center, a video film reflecting the history and activities of the plant was presented to students.

Then the students visited the plant museum and the observation deck of the Kalmakyr mine. Here, experts told the guests about the history of the deposit, its parameters, as well as the ore mining process.

On this day, students received a rich understanding of the activities of AMMC.
