On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in April of this year, at the expense of sponsorship funds from Almalyk MMC JSC, the reconstruction of the Chatkal Cultural Center, located in the Faiziobod mahalla in the village of Kiziltog, Parkent district, began.
The reconstruction, which was carried out by TOMK, was completed in six months, and on September 23, the grand opening of the updated Chatkal Central Cultural took place, which was attended by the Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov, the mayor of the Tashkent region Zoir Mirzaev, the chairman of the board of Almalyk MMC JSC, Senator Oliy Majlis of the Republic Abdulla Khursanov, People's Artist of Uzbekistan Yodgor Sadiev and representatives of the public. In their speeches, they emphasized that the reforms being carried out in our country are aimed, among other things, at developing the creative potential of young people and this center will contribute to this.
During the event, a group of builders and employees who took an active part in the reconstruction of the center were rewarded with valuable gifts.
Then the symbolic ribbon was cut, the director of the Chatkal Central Cultural was presented with a symbolic key and the facility was officially put into operation.
An excursion was held for everyone. A fountain was built in the courtyard of the Central Committee, which was not there before. During the reconstruction, the slate roof of the building was replaced with corrugated sheets, the facade, premises, heating system were updated, modern double-glazed windows were installed, energy-saving equipment was installed, a mobile stage was equipped... The builders decorated the second floor in the hi-tech style.
The Chatkal Central Cultural has an auditorium with 350 seats, premises for amateur art groups, and a library, the fund of which includes 4,000 copies of works of fiction. Musical instruments and equipment were purchased for the opening.
In total, 12 billion soums were spent on repairs and equipment of the Chatkal Central Cultural.
Thus, about 1000 boys and girls of the village of Kiziltog had the opportunity to develop their talents in 10 different clubs.
Representatives of the region’s culture and amateur artists from the Metallurg Palace of Culture prepared a concert program for the participants of the event.
This is the gift the Complex gave to Parkent residents.
