In pursuance of the decree of the government of our country “On additional measures for comprehensive socio-economic development and further improvement of the standard of living of the population of the village of Krasnogorsk, Parkent district, Tashkent region,” a number of tasks were identified.

In particular, a major reconstruction of the Chatkal Cultural Center, located in the Faiziobod mahalla of the Krasnogorsk village in the Parkent district, and the construction of a fountain in front of the building at the expense of sponsorship from Almalyk MMC JSC were envisaged.

In order to ensure the execution of this order, on June 14, 2023, the decision of the Board of Management of Almalyk MMC JSC No. 75-19/PP-2023 was adopted.

Based on the document, the workers of the Olmalikmetallurgkurilish trust of AMMC are renovating the two-story building of the Chatkal Cultural Center.

These works involved 92 workers and 3 units of special equipment.

To date, plastering of the building facade and repair of the corrugated roof have been completed. Decorative and finishing works of the interior of the building are underway. The windows and heating system have been replaced with plastic ones, and economical lighting has been installed.

The cultural center has two large auditoriums, one of which has a capacity of 350 seats, and the second of which has a capacity of 120 seats. There are also rooms for various clubs.

Repair work is scheduled to be completed by September 1.

This institution will certainly be a venue for public events, where people can meet during holidays, celebrations and have cultural recreation. The cultural center will become a kind of gift from AMMC to the residents of the Parkent district for the Independence Day of our country.
