The Kyzyl-Olma mine is currently the largest division within the Angren mine management. Two sections of the mine: “Glavniy” and “Samarchuk” employ 590 people who adequately cope with the tasks.

So all the projections for 2021 are exceeded. For example, the plan for ore extraction was fulfilled by 105.5%, and for mining and capital work - by 124.5%.

The capacity of the Kyzyl Olma mine is 282,000 tons of gold-bearing ore per year. At the same time, a significant share in the total workforce of the new mine site “Samarchuk”, which is being built under the investment project “Construction of an underground mine at the site “Samarchuk” on the basis of the existing field “Kyzyl Olma” for the purpose of involving in the development of reserves of gold ores in this area in the amount of 100 thousand tons per year to replace retiring mine “Kochbulak” of Kochbulak deposit being the part of the Angren mine management.

Head of “Kyzyl-Orda” pit of Angren mine management Abdukarim Ganiev: “Moving the shaft of the mine is carried out by the contracting organization “Bashkirskoye Shakhtodorodcheskoye Upravlenie” PJSC. The contractor installed the necessary mining equipment and excavated and reinforced the +1045 m and +985 m horizons. All 8 routes were crossed and reinforced with concrete. To date, 507 meters of vertical shafts have been laid, and on the basis of an additional agreement the water intake complex has been completed. In this complex, water is pumped upward from the shaft. The software developed by the Ukrainian company MIDIEL was used for the hoisting machine on the mine shaft. As a result, all work is performed fully automatically.

It should be noted that not only the workers of the Angren mine management, but also specialists from other subdivisions of the plant are involved in the implementation of the investment project. Including employees of the “Olmalikmetallurgkurilish” trust, who completed the construction of facilities located on the mine surface. These include the compressor station, control room, ore and waste rock trestle, mine car tipping system, drinking water tank and others. Work was done to bring water and power lines to the lift pumping station.

Finishing work is currently underway in the administration building premises, as well as work on the installation of lifting devices.

According to Sherzod Sultanaliev, master of the construction and assembly section of the “Olmalikmetallurgkurilish” trust, the construction of a cement and materials warehouse and a mechanical shop has been completed. The dump for back filling of the ore mined and lifted to the surface of the mine is being assembled and set up. It is planned to lay gas pipelines to the Modular Boiler House. The main ventilation equipment of the underground mine is being installed. In the coming days, a BO-21 fan unit will be installed to provide the underground mine with 63.3 cubic meters of air per hour. All work is carried out in accordance with the approved schedule. And more than 70% of the total planned volume has already been completed.

We should add that today the Samarchuk site is already producing thousands of tons of gold-bearing ore. The production plan for 2022 is 40 thousand tons of ore. And over time, the Samarchuk site will turn into a full-fledged mine with a capacity of about 100 thousand tons. This will be an excellent contribution to the common cause of the personnel of AMMC to strengthen the economy of the young independent state.
