We know that the exchange of experience and expertise and the direct application of proven practices to processes ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Therefore, international cooperation relations have always been supported in our country. Year by year the growth of the capacities of enterprises that are cooperating with many countries increases the need for the experience of developed countries. Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex is constantly researching in this regard. For this purpose, on June 29, representatives of the Japan International Cooperation Agency and its representative office in Uzbekistan visited Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex. At this point, it is necessary to dwell on the question of what kind of organization JICA is. The Japan International Cooperation Agency (known as JICA) was established on October 1, 2003 as an administrative agency.

Every year, JICA provides practical assistance in training and upgrading the skills of about 8,000 foreign researchers, engineers, teachers, and community leaders in Japan, as well as in improving the international centers that support them.

As for the direct cooperation meeting, at the beginning of the event, experts of the complex and JICA organization got acquainted with the activities of the Kalmoqkir and Yoshlik-1 mines. Abdukahhor Saynazarov, the head of the technical department of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, gave detailed information to the guests about the processes carried out in the main mine of copper-porphyry ores, its capacity and prospects. In addition, the head of the educational center Daniyor Karimov gave sufficient answers to the questions of the foreign guests by the representatives of the center and expert staff.

During the visit, guests led by Dr. Yoshitaka Hosoi, professor of Akita University, lecturer of Hokkaido and Osaka Universities, mining and exploration expert, presented presentations based on international experience in the field of "Mining and Metallurgical Industry". At the meeting, Dr. Yositaka Hosoi emphasized that establishing relations with developing countries in the field of mining would be beneficial and effective for both parties. During the conversation, the issue of staff qualification was also discussed.
