On June 7 this year in the Palace of Culture “Metallurg” a professional skills competition "Best Nurse-2024", was held dedicated to the World Day of Labor Protection.

The contest was attended by nurses working in the nursing unit of the Trade Union Council of AMMC employees and pre-school educational organizations of social facilities management.

In the first “Greeting” stage the participants talked about themselves and their profession, about what regulatory acts they are guided by in the performance of their duties.

In the second stage, the participants answered theoretical questions about medicine in a definite time.

In the third phase, nurses demonstrated practical first aid skills. Participants showed the procedure to control bleeding and resuscitation, as well as for splinting of open and closed bone fractures.

According to the results of the contest, the jury determined the winners in the following nominations:

Makhbuba Umrzokova, head nurse of preschool educational establishment No. 35 - “The Most Creative”;

Rukhsora Ismailova, a nurse on duty at the gold extraction plant of Angren ore mining department - “The Most Responsible”;

Dilichekhra Karimova, a nurse on duty at the Kauldy mine - “The Most Motivated”;

Maftuna Salimboeva, a nurse of the medical unit - “The Kindest Nurse”;

Dilrabo Karimova, a senior nurse of preschool educational establishment No. 33, took the honorable third place and was awarded the nomination “The Most Active Propagandist”;

Feruza Babaeva, a senior nurse of preschool educational establishment No. 20, was awarded the second place and won in the nomination “The Most Initiative”;

Sarvinoz Saidalieva, a nurse of the medical unit, who took the first place, was recognized as “The Best Nurse-2024”.

The winners and participants were awarded diplomas and cash prizes.
