On July 19 a reporting event was held in the executive office dedicated to the results of the first half of 2023 activity of the primary women’s organization of JSC “Almalyk MMC”.
The event, attended by chairmen of primary women’s organizations of structural subdivisions of the Complex, was held under the leadership of Feruza Khamidova, Chairwoman of the Women’s Primary Organization and Women’s Council of AMMC.
The event included a progress report for January-June 2023.
As of today, more than 8 thousand women work in the structural subdivisions of AMMC. Among them: one deputy, about 2,000 with higher education, 4,615 with specialized secondary education, 1,420 with secondary education.
In the period from February to June of the current year, the women’s primary organization of AMMC carried out a number of works. In particular, each division of the Complex analyzed the female staff composition, the social status of female workers, age, education, and the status of gender equality.
44 families of the Complex employees were provided with financial aid for the total amount of 538 million 950 thousand UZ Soums. 12 women from these families are with serious illnesses.
The Complex paid tuition fee for 27 women studying at a higher educational institution. For this purpose 396,049,390 UZ Soums were allocated.
On the basis of the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 9, 2022 No. 322 “On approval of the procedure for admission of women with at least five years of work experience in their specialty to state higher education institutions”, 43 women received letters of recommendation from the Complex.
Vouchers were allocated to the “Sinegorye” recreation area for 25 women in need of social protection who work in the “Bolajon” children’s park and take part in various events and works to improve the city.
Meetings and round tables were organized with the workers of the copper concentrator, central machinery and repair plant and copper smelting plant.
As of January 1, 2023, a system of online enrollment of children of the Complex employees has been set up.
The AMMC Women’s Council took timely measures to resolve misunderstandings and appeals from female employees that arose during the transition from offline mode. Awareness-raising efforts in this direction are ongoing.
In accordance with the order of the Chairman of the Management Board of “Almalyk MMC” JSC “On additional incentives for the chairpersons of women’s primary organizations in AMMC” dated June 30, 2023, monthly financial incentives for the activities of the chairperson of women’s primary organization are defined depending on the total number of women in the staff. The supplement shall be paid according to the monthly performance of the chairperson of the women’s primary organization of the division.
The primary women’s organizations of the following subdivisions of AMMC: Kalmakyr mine administration, Angren mine administration, Chadak mine administration, Khandiza mine administration, Uch-Kulach mine, Kauldy mine, Mine Construction Department, Copper Concentrator, Copper Concentrator-2, Copper-Smelting Plant, Zinc Plant, Industrial Railroad Transportation Department, Utility Vehicles Department, Central Machinery and Repair Plant, “Olmalikmetallurgkurilish” complex of enterprises, Rare Metals and Hard Alloys Research and Production Association, Specialized Maintenance Works Department, Corporate Paramilitary Security, Consumer Product Division, Kauldy mine, CHP plant, Lime Plant, Information Services, Central Analytical Laboratory, Industrial Water Supply Shop, Explosives Mill, QC Department, Training Center, Logistics Department, Housing Maintenance Office, Project Management Division, Capital Construction Management, Technical Security Service, Production Automation Department, Technological Center for Development and Implementation of Innovative Technologies, Central Metrology Laboratory, “Nefteproduktsnab” Division, Civil Defense Office are fulfilled the tasks and assignments for the first half of 2023 in due time.
On their own initiative, chairpersons of women’s primary organizations of Kalmakyr mine administration, Central Machinery and Repair Plant, Copper-Smelting Plant, Copper Concentrator, Rare Metals and Hard Alloys Research and Production Association, and Khandiza mine administration conduct various outreach activities among women.
According to the results of the meeting, the activity of the women’s primary organization for the first half of the current year was recognized as satisfactory.
In addition, relevant decisions were taken on other issues considered during the event.
