On March 13 of this year, Vice-Rector of the University of Geological Sciences Leila Sharafutdinova, Head of the Marketing Department Khusan Mukimova, and Dean Bakhrom Urunov visited AMMC.

At a meeting between the head of the AMMC training center Doniyor Karimov, the chief geologist of the plant Iskandar Avladov and representatives of a higher educational institution, issues of cooperation in the geological industry were discussed.

In particular, the following issues were considered: university students undergoing paid practical training in the structural divisions of the plant, employment opportunities for graduates in the future, organizing short-term courses for geologists of the plant, etc.

It was also announced during the meeting that today there is a shortage of specialists in the fields of hydrology, mineralogy and petrography.

At the end of the meeting, the parties decided to establish cooperation to implement a number of measures to improve the system of training specialists in the field of geology.
