Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex and German companies are establishing mutually beneficial cooperation in a number of areas.

Examples of such cooperation are the following: in Chirchik, the Complex and the company Falk-Porsche-Technik GmbH created the joint venture “Deutsche IT-AMMC”; AMMC has established cooperation with the Mining Academy of the Freiberg Technical University and the GP Gunter Papenburg AG concern for personnel training; in May of this year, contracts worth more than 1.4 billion euros were signed between AMMC and German companies, and in September a mandate worth $2.55 billion was signed with the German bank KfW-IPEX Bank to organize financing for the construction of a new copper smelting complex.

On October 10 of this year, representatives of the Federal Ministry of Finance of Germany visited Almalyk MMC JSC.

At the Metallurg Palace of Culture, guests got acquainted with the exhibits of the Complex's museum and an exposition telling about the history of the Almalyk region, and they received detailed information about the activities of our enterprise by watching a video.

- Today we got acquainted with the activities of the Complex. The main purpose of our visit is to establish mutually beneficial bilateral relations with AMMC, which is a large industrial enterprise. The demand for the Complex's products in Europe is high. We are witnessing cooperation between the Complex and a number of German companies in many areas. We share our experience with the Agency for State Asset Management of the Republic of Uzbekistan. I think that cooperation will be established with the Complex in this direction.
