For a number of years, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex has been working with a number of companies from the Federal Republic of Germany.

As part of cooperation at the II International Economic Forum in Samarkand in 2022, a number of agreements were signed with various German companies and banks. These are BASF concern, Menzel, Takraf GmbH companies, Helaba Bank.

Also in Chirchik, together with AMMC and Germany, a joint venture "Deutsche IT-AMMC" was created.

In addition, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex is purchasing 54 plate chain conveyors for processing copper ore from AUMUND Fördertechnik, which will be used at the new copper processing plant-3 under construction.

This week, within the framework of cooperation, AMMC was visited by a German delegation headed by the chairman of the consulting company Mangold Consulting, Professor Klaus Mangold.

Representatives of the company visited the observation deck of the Kalmakyr mine. From the height of the side of the quarry, we watched the open-cast mining of one of the largest mines in the region.

Then the guests got acquainted with the investment project “Development of the Yoshlik I deposit”, the commissioning of which will increase the ore production by several times.

Accompanying the representatives of the delegation, AMMC specialists spoke about the progress in the construction of copper processing plant-3, the commissioning of which will significantly increase the volume of grinding and enrichment of ore from copper-molybdenum deposits in the region.

Within the framework of the official visit, the representatives of the delegation met with the management of JSC Almalyk MMC, during which the prospects for further cooperation were discussed.
