More than 1,300 local producers with more than 2,000 products participated in the interregional industrial fair held in Chirchik on August 4-5 this year.

Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex participated in this fair with more than 230 imported and developed products (chemical products, explosives and equipment, rolled metal, ferroalloys). Also, more than 100 products (copper and zinc products, cement, phosphorite products, sulfuric acid, rare metals and hard alloy products) produced as part of the localization program were exhibited at the fair.

At this fair, a presentation was held on the work carried out by Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex on localization and cooperation, the main activities, the development program of the complex until 2028.

All the participants of the industrial fair were presented with the demand for equipment, technical and technological machines, which will be necessary for the investment projects carried out by the complex until 2030, as well as for the expansion of new enrichment plants (3rd Copper Enrichment Factory, 4th Copper Enrichment Factory) and metallurgical complex.

At the event, a stand displaying products manufactured by Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex was displayed. And a catalog of more than 2,500 products that can be produced in our country and replace imports was also presented.

The participants and guests of the fair got acquainted with the new projects being implemented in our country on the development of new products.

In particular, the AGMK-KOMA-HANKOOK metal processing joint venture with the Korean state, and the AGMK-ABM-ME-SOLUTIONS GP JV, a metal processing centers manufacturer, are being established with Germany.

It is also planned to manufacture heavy-duty (110-220 tons) mining equipment by "Krantas Group" LLC in Tashkent.

It should be noted separately that now, with the help of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, the enterprise "Almalyk Casting Mechanics Plant" with a project value of 115 billion soums is carrying out construction of necessary buildings on the allocated land. The enterprise is planned to be put into operation in October, and on the basis of cooperation, it will have the capacity to produce 200 billion soums of import substitution products and create more than 200 new jobs.

The production of 74 castings for railway transport was mastered in cooperation with "Foundry-Mechanical Plant" LLC.

As a result of negotiations between Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex and local manufacturers at the industrial fair, contracts worth 102.5 billion soums were signed for the purchase of products.

In addition, as a result of negotiations with local manufacturers, memorandums on the production of import-substituting products with a total value of 71 billion soums were signed.
