It is known that the construction of the underground mining site "Samarchuk" at the base of the KyzylAlma mine field, which belongs to the Angren mining department of "Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex" JSC, is being continued in accordance with the technical and economic grounds approved by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 4, 2011 "On the priority tasks of increasing production capacity and expanding the volume of new competitive products" served as the basis for the technical and economic basis.
The mining of ore veins of the KyzylAlma-soy gold mine area will be carried out by the Samarchuk site. The mining area is located in the Ohangaron district of the Tashkent region, in the southwestern part of the Chotkal mountain far from 6 km north of the Angren Mining Department's Gold Sorting Factory. The "Golden Vein" ore body is opened through bis tunnels 13, 9, 5 and 6 and mined until 1999.
In order to further expand the production of competitive products and master the development of new products, according to the relevant decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Samarchuq section has been included in the Kyzyl Alma mine since 2015 and the preparations for the extraction of the Kyzyl Alma mine reserves were carried out in the 6a tunnel.
According to the project "Construction of the Samarchuk Section", the Mine Construction Department of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex carried out transition works in the 6a-(+1077.8 m) tunnel in 2014 and it was handed over to the Angren Mining Department for operation in 2015.
6a tunnel is considered the main route of mining passage, bringing rock (ores and loose rock) to the top, opening the way for people to move, delivering equipment and materials, as well as mining serves the purpose of delivering fresh air. It is envisaged that the transportation of rocks along the tunnel will be carried out by electric locomotives moving on contact lines 4KR-600 connected to V0-0.8 tipping wagons. The horizon of 6a the tunnel is the main transportation corridor for the mining of ore bodies reserves No 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. At the moment, restoration works are being carried out in the core of the 5th tunnel. Later, mining of the 3rd ore vein will be started through the 5th tunnel.
As of today, the work of opening the +1045m horizon is being carried out by the Mining Department of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex. At the same time, the Bashkirstan mine crossing company of Russia has carried out crossing works along the Samarchuk core and put it into use.
It is planned to establish a separate Samarchuk mine with an annual capacity of 1000 tons at the base of the Samarchuk site.
