The Localization Program is being effectively implemented at Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex.
In particular, in the period from January to May 2024, 251 projects produced products worth 704.9 billion UZ Soums, fulfillment of the forecast in this direction amounted to 103.5%. Compared to the same period last year, the growth rate increased 4 times, and the efficiency of import substitution reached 56.1 million USD.
Localized products worth 570.5 billion UZ Soums were produced under new projects.
In the context of enterprises where the Localization Program is being implemented: Central Repair and Mechanical Plant on 105 projects produced products worth 35.1 billion UZ Soums, Scientific and Production Association for the production of rare metals and hard alloys on 31 projects - 54.0 billion UZ Soums. For the copper smelter products for amount of 10.4 billion UZ Soums were produced.
Also, within the framework of construction of Copper Concentrator-3, metal structures worth 368.8 billion UZ Soums were produced, explosive materials plant produced goods worth 89.0 billion UZ Soums, 8 mechanical repair sites - worth 13.2 billion UZ Soums.
Over the Reporting Period, products produced under the Localization Program were exported in the amount of USD 1.46 million.
For reference, in 2024 on the basis of the Localization Program on 268 projects the volume of production for the amount of 1,502.3 billion UZ Soums was formed.
