The Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, which has been contributing to the growth of the economic power of our country, pays special attention to the social sphere.
On July 16, under the auspices of the Complex, a new sewing factory was launched in cooperation with "Equatorial Chodak" LLC.
This sewing factory was established in Chodak village, Oltinkon town, Pop district, Namangan region.
The ceremonial opening of the sewing factory took place on July 16 of this year. Shavkat Abdurazakov, the governor of Namangan region, Sadi Shermatov, the deputy chairman of the Pop district administration and Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex board for social issues and personnel, and public activists took part in it.
Officials speaking at the event noted that this sewing enterprise is of great importance in ensuring the employment of the population living in the area, in the development of its infrastructure, and that the implementation of projects to create new jobs will be continued in the future.
During the event, a symbolic ribbon was cut and the sewing factory officially started its operation.
In the establishment of this enterprise, financial support of 468.9 thousand dollars was provided by the Almalyk mining and metallurgical complex. The enterprise is supplied with the most advanced equipment from Turkey and Japan.
It is noteworthy that on the same day, a contract signing ceremony was held between "Equatorial Chodak" LLC and the employees.
Now 250 women living in the village of Chodak have been provided with jobs.
The products of this enterprise with an annual production capacity of 500,100 pieces of jeans and other clothes are planned to be exported to the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries.
