On March 6 this year, the Chairman of the Board of JSC "Almalyk MMC" Abdulla Khursanov signed an order "On the preparation and holding of the national holiday Navruz."

The document adopted for execution the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 1, 2023 “On the preparation and holding of the national holiday Navruz in 2023”.

The Navruz holiday this year in our country will be held at a high level as a nationwide celebration - sayil under the motto: "Let every day be like Navruz for you, dear Uzbekistan!"

The order approved the plan of festive events, as well as the composition of the working group for their preparation and organization.

A list of specialized institutions has also been approved, where the structural divisions of the plant organize festive dastarkhans (served table with mational meals).

The heads of the AMMC subdivisions were instructed to organize landscaping and landscaping work in the territories assigned to them by March 16 this year: mahallas, settlements, apartment buildings and adjacent territories, playgrounds, cemeteries, social facilities and territories of structural divisions.

To create a festive atmosphere in the structural units will be decorated with appropriate slogans and banners. Also, in accordance with the approved schedule, it is planned to hold festive events in the divisions of the plant (holiday pilaf, sumalak, concerts, etc.).

In accordance with the action plan, charitable hashars will be held in the homes of elderly people in need of social protection, pensioners and people with disabilities, lonely elderly people, low-income families who have lost their breadwinner.

In connection with the holiday, activists of the Council of the Trade Union of Workers of Almalyk MMC JSC will distribute food packages to veterans of the Second World War and participants in the labor front, military personnel who served as part of a limited contingent of troops temporarily stationed in the Republic of Afghanistan, and participants in the liquidation of the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.

Exhibitions reflecting the national values and traditions of various regions of our country will be organized.

National sports competitions and demonstration performances of athletes will be held in Yoshlar Bogi Park. Competitions for cooking pilaf, sumalak and other spring national dishes will also be organized here.

Amateur art groups will perform at the “Metallurg” Palace of Culture, presenting their concert programs.
