+998 71 619 23 33On August 20-21, intensive training courses aimed at improving the efficiency of internal anti-corruption control (compliance) units were held in the capital of our country. The event was organized in pursuance of the objectives set by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at a meeting of the National Anti-Corruption Council on March 5 this year.
The training was attended by more than 500 employees of Compliance Departments from central, regional and subordinate structures of state bodies and organizations.
The course program included an analysis of current decisions and regulations, practical mastering of the capabilities of the e-anticor.uz platform and its new module, as well as an analysis of errors identified during the 2024 rating assessment.
Invited foreign experts conducted practical classes with the participants on managing conflicts of interest, assessing the resilience of civil servants to corruption risks and applying advanced international experience in this area.
Special attention was paid to the problems of implementing an internal control system in government agencies and shortcomings in the application of regulatory documents. Following the discussions, recommendations were developed for further improvement of the work.
The courses were held within the framework of the joint project of the Anti-Corruption Agency and the United Nations Development Programme "Strengthening the National Anti-Corruption Ecosystem in Uzbekistan", funded by the European Union.
The event was also attended by the head of the Compliance Service of JSC “Almalyk MMC” Shukhrat Juraev. Upon completion of the training, the students were awarded certificates.
