A training seminar on this topic was held on June 13 at the Almalyk branch of the National Research Technological University "MISIS".
The event was organized at the initiative of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, within the framework of the World Bank project "Modernization of the National Innovation System of the Republic of Uzbekistan" (MUNIS).
The purpose of this seminar is the commercialization of technologies, support for the ideas and proposals of young scientists, based on the appeal of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to youth in 2022.
Currently, the World Bank's Munis project has been launched in the country. Within the framework of the second and third components of the project, separate grants were allocated for the commercialization of start-up projects and support for scientific developments. The training seminar was organized in order to form applications for these grants, to develop the knowledge, skills and abilities of scientists when submitting projects. The seminar will provide detailed information on how to participate in grant projects, – said Nurullo Narzullaev, an employee of the Center for Scientific and Technical Information of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The lead coach of the training is an international expert in the commercialization of scientific projects and the implementation of start-ups Sergey Makarov.
The seminar is attended by students of the Almalyk branch of NUST MISIS, employees of structural divisions of JSC Almalyk MMC and representatives of universities in the Tashkent region.
Based on the results of this training, all trained participants will receive World Bank certificates of professional development.
