The intellectual game “Zakovat” dedicated to World Occupational Safety Day was held at the “Temiryulchilar” Palace of Culture of the Industrial Railway Transport Department.

The competition, held under the motto “The Impact of Climate Change on Occupational Safety and Health,” was attended by 35 teams from various structural divisions of the plant.

During the competition, held with the aim of increasing workers’ knowledge in the field of labor protection, teams answered questions on world history, the history of Uzbekistan, AMMC and the town of Almalyk, as well as on labor protection and safety. A total of 30 questions had to be answered, with 1 minute allocated for each question.

According to the results of the game, the team from the social facilities department took an honorable third place, and representatives from the road transport department took second place. The victory was won by the team of the copper smelter.

The winners and runners-up were awarded cash prizes.

At the end of the event, Shukhrat Juraev, Deputy Chief Engineer of AMMC for Labor Protection and Industrial Safety, had noted, congratulated the teams and noted that such intellectual games further increase the interest of workers in their profession, motivate them to self-development and accumulate knowledge in the field of labor protection.
