For enterprises, this is a chance to directly participate in the training of in-demand specialists. This strategic direction is also actively developing at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex .
As part of cooperation with the country's leading universities, university branches are being opened on the basis of the plant's divisions, which opens up new horizons for both students and employees. Thus, on April 18, the AMMC engineering school officially opened its doors to students of the Tashkent State Technical University branch in Almalyk.
As part of this project, a grand opening of the departments of "Technological Machines and Equipment" and "Mechanical Engineering Technology" of the Faculty of Power Engineering and Mechanical Engineering took place. The event was attended by the management of the AMMC engineering school, the administration of the TashSTU branch, teachers and students.
The work of the new departments will be aimed at training competitive specialists who can effectively solve production problems, conduct scientific research, and will also allow teachers to improve their qualifications. The students' educational process will be closely integrated with practical activities in the structural divisions of the plant.
In addition, seminars and practical classes with the participation of teachers from the TashSTU branch are planned for students of the engineering school. The integration of education and production at AMMC creates a strong connection between theory and practice, which is an important basis for the sustainable development of not only the enterprise, but also the industrial potential of the entire region. This experience can rightfully serve as a model for implementation at the national level.
