AMMC has established a cooperation with Freiberg mining academy

Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex has been cooperating with universities of a number of foreign countries for several years in order to train qualified specialists. Within the scope of such cooperation, the rector of the Mining Academy of the Technical University of Freiberg, Germany, K.D. Barbknecht and H. Müller-Steinhagen, President of the Private University of Dresden, visited.

During the visit, talks were held between the leadership of AMMC and the guests from Germany on mutually beneficial cooperation relations.

The guests were also informed about the transformation process and digitalization of the Complex.

Representatives of the delegation got acquainted with the activities of Kalmoqqir, "Yoshlik-1" mines, the newly established 3rd copper beneficiation factory, copper beneficiation factory, copper smelting plant, central repair mechanical plant, scientific production association of rare metals and hard alloys.

At the end of the visit, a memorandum was signed between AMMC and the Mining Academy of the Technical University of Freiberg on the training of qualified specialists for the Complex.

A number of agreements were reached during the visit and negotiations.

In particular, the training of highly qualified personnel based on 60 educational programs of the Freiberg Academy (bachelor, master, doctorate), training courses for candidates offered to study at the Freiberg Academy bachelor's degree (German language, mathematics, physics) to organize in Uzbekistan on a voluntary basis, to support them in every way and to train promising specialists in short and long-term training courses. To undertake the employment of the graduates of the Freiberg Academy from Uzbekistan for 5 years in German enterprises in order to gain experience, to involve professors and teachers of universities in the scientific research of the problems in the production-technological processes of the Complex. Application of their scientific developments to Complexd production processes.

Also, using the potential of water resource management scientific centers under the universities in Uzbekistan, including in the conditions of the Complex, applying the software of the Freiberg Academy on increasing the productivity of large mining and transport equipment in the Complex, conducting scientific research in the academy's laboratories from rare metals obtained in the Complex an agreement was reached on conducting, introducing scientific projects into production, seeing the possibilities of wide use of the robotics achievements of the Freiberg Academy in the field of mining.

For information: The Freiberg Mining Academy was founded in 1739 and is one of the most prestigious technical universities in Germany. Oliygoh, with a 250-year history, is considered a leader in training qualified specialists in the field of mining and metallurgy.

Dozens of industrial discoveries have been made by students studying here in areas such as mineralogy, geology, metallurgy, materials science, energy and ecology. In particular, the chemical elements indium and germanium were discovered by the Freiberg Mining Academy. Currently, scientific research work on semiconductors is being carried out effectively at the academy. Importantly, the Freiberg Mining Academy has earned respect for its use of modern, eco-friendly technologies.

It is worth noting that letters of recommendation are given to workers of the Complex who expressed their desire to study at this academy. The first students will soon be sent to study at this prestigious German university.

We are very happy to have established cooperation relations with the Almaliq Mining and Metallurgical Complex. Today, we got acquainted with the activities of the Complex and saw that its rich reserves, promising projects are being implemented, and it is a proof of the stable operation of the enterprise., - SAID K.D. Barbknext. - We believe that students who have studied with us will make an even greater contribution to the development of the industrial sector by completing internships at German industrial enterprises and AMMC.

We regret that we did not establish cooperation with Uzbekistan earlier. I think that our cooperation will be sustainable.
