Traditionally, every year on the first Sunday of April, our country celebrates the Day of Workers in the Sphere of Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In connection with this date, on April 4 this year, representatives of the sphere working in the structural divisions of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine had been awarded.

At the event, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Almalyk MMC JSC for personnel and social issues Sady Shermatov congratulated the geologists of the plant on their professional holiday, noted their fruitful and selfless work. S. Shermatov also stressed that the exploration of reserves, the discovery of mineral deposits is an undoubted merit of geologists.

The management of the plant awarded a group of production leaders with certificates of honor and valuable gifts.

After that, the winners of various nominations of the professional skills competition "The Best Employees of the Geological Service-2023", held among geologists working in the structural divisions of the AMMC, were awarded with valuable and memorable gifts.

In particular, Doston Abdusamatov (local geologist of the “Kalmakyr” Central Mining Administration) won in the Best Young Geologist nomination.

“The best sampler” – Mirgolib Iymazov (sampler of the Kochbulak mine of the Angren Mining Administration) and Barno Aralboeva (sampler of the “Sauk-Bulak” quarry of the lime plant).

“The best young geologist according to the normative documents and requirements of the JORC Code” - Khayotkhon Holkulova (mineralist of the exploration party of the “Kalmakyr” Mining Administration).

“The best geologist working with information technologies” – Daler Yuldashev (district geologist of the Central Quarry of the “Kalmakyr” Mining Administration).

"The best geologist in terms of foreign language proficiency" – Dilnoza Khamrayeva (geologist of the Eastern Quarry of the “Kalmakyr” Mining Administration)

"Best Geological Service" – the geological department of the “Kauldy” mine (chief geologist of the mine Vadim Kosov).
