The town-forming enterprise, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine, is active not only in production, but also in supporting the social sphere.

An example of work being carried out in this direction is the Builders Park which was put into operation today.

The opening ceremony of this park was attended by the management of AMMC, the senior officials of the Almalyk town administration and representatives of the general public.

As the Chairman of the Board of JSC “Almalyk MMC”, Senator Abdulla Khursanov, noted in his speech, for many years the Builders Park was abandoned and was in a deplorable state. After the improvement work carried out by the workers of the plant, it acquired a new look. A. Khursanov also emphasized that this park is the result of work within the framework of the national project “Green Region”, implemented in the country on the initiative of the head of our state.” AMMC is and remains an active participant in the “Green Region” project and an active promoter of the “For Green Life” movement.

Construction work began in 2023. Due to the fact that the park with an area of ​​7.5 hectares is located on an inclined surface, specialists also carried out excavation work. Electricity and water supply are provided. As a result of landscaping and construction works, 3,150 tree seedlings and 25,000 flower seedlings were planted. The irrigation system for green areas has been updated. The lighting system has also been updated and 20 solar floodlights have been installed. 1,300 meters of concrete paths were poured.

In addition, a children's playground was built in the park, benches, swings and trampolines were installed.

It is worth noting that in the garden we installed panels that reflect the history of AMMC, its activities, labor veterans and managers, as well as products. Thanks to these compositions, park guests will be able to learn more about the town-forming enterprise.

The opening of this park by the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine on the eve of the Day of Mining and Metallurgical Workers of the Republic of Uzbekistan became a kind of gift for the residents of Almalyk.
