It is no secret that the development of any industrial enterprise primarily depends on its human resources. Highly qualified specialists with certain competencies, professional knowledge and skills determine its stability and efficiency.
In order to train high-level specialists, an engineering school is being built at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine.
It is worth noting that the prototype for the engineering school was the training center of Aurubis company. The construction work of this facility is at the completion stage. Here conditions are created for acquiring not only theoretical knowledge, but also practical skills.
All necessary equipment was purchased for the school - axial milling machines, lathes with digital program control, laser equipment for cutting metals, etc. Installation work is currently underway.
At the first stage, the engineering school will train plant employees working in the following areas: geology, mining, mining transport, surveying, mineral processing, metallurgy, mechanics, energy, production automation.
At the second stage, engineering and technical workers for AMMC and other industrial enterprises of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be trained here.
The training programs are developed on the basis of educational training methods of the Technical University Freiberg Mining Academy, Aurubis AG and GP Günter Papenburg with the participation of specialists from the plant and foreign partner organizations.
It is also planned to organize in-depth training in computer science and English.
Interviews were conducted with local teachers in three specialties (mechanics, metallurgy and industrial automation) who will work at this school, as well as with future students who will study here.
Classes will be held in online and offline formats with the participation of teachers from the Technical University Freiberg Mining Academy. It is worth noting that students will be able to use the electronic platform of the German higher educational institution, which contains electronic books and lectures.
