AMMC sports complex, which can accommodate more than 10,000 spectators, has been hosting many prestigious international sports competitions, national and regional events, and holiday concerts.

The complex was commissioned in 2013. First of all, the stadium, which has the only hybrid field in our country, was covered with 100% natural grass this year.

It should be noted that due to the requirements of Uzbekistan Professional Football League for the clubs, as well as the participation of the AMMC football club in the qualifying stage of the Asian Champions League tournament, today the lighting lamps are replaced with fully modern ones with a strong lighting power.

Dostonbek Mukhiddinov, the director of "AMMC sports complex" JSC " Olmaliq KMK ", stated that at the moment, full dismantling works have been completed on 2 of the 4 masts available for lighting the field. These days, issues of cooperation are being discussed between the management staff of AMMC and the representatives of "Omega Injenering group" OJSC. With the delivery of new and modern lights from Russia, installation tasks are performed by Russian specialists.

The lighting will be installed in August this year.

In addition, the " Olmaliqmetallurgqurilish " trest is currently carrying out repair work on stands in 8 sectors.

Handball and basketball teams of OKMK FC, which hold regular training sessions and matches in the complex, occupy high places in the rankings of Uzbekistan and the world.

In order to further support the young generation, a football academy will soon be established under the PFC of OKMK. Preliminary tasks in this regard have also been started.

It should be noted that this stadium in Almalik will soon become an arena that will host several international competitions, fully meeting the requirements of AFC and FIFA.

We will remind that AGMK team will have to beat Al Seeb of Ummah at home and Al Arabi of Qatar away in August in order to enter the group stage of the Asian Champions League.
