Every year on the last sunday of october, our country celebrates the Day of Automobile transport workers.

Today, it is impossible to imagine our life without automobile transport. Sometimes, we do not even think about how difficult the work of professional drivers is, those who deliver goods, who ensure the smooth operation of enterprises, who work in passenger transport. Without automobile transport, not only the stable functioning of the national economy is unthinkable, but also the daily life of millions of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The activities of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine also directly depend on cargo and passenger transportation. Transporting ore mined in quarries on giant dump trucks or, for example, taking AMMC workers from the town to one of the divisions on so-called shift buses is the task of specialists from two large divisions of the enterprise – the teams of the automobile and technological transport departments, which recently celebrated their professional holiday. On October 26, a celebration was held dedicated to the Day of Automobile Transport Workers and the 75th anniversary of the foundation of JSC “Almalyk MMC”.

Many kind words of gratitude were expressed to the glorious work teams of Automobile Transport Department and Technological Transport Department for their selfless work for the benefit of the economic development of AMMC, as well as sincere congratulations and warm wishes.

Based on the order of the Chairman of the Board of JSC “Almalyk MMC”, a number of particularly distinguished workers of transport services were awarded with certificates of honor and valuable gifts.

In a festive atmosphere, bulldozer operator Abdinazar Usarov was awarded the Miner's Glory badge of the first degree, and the foreman of the quarry road repair and maintenance site Bobur Abdikodirov and dump truck driver Askarali Makhmudov were awarded the Miner's Glory badge of the third degree.

The ceremonial part continued with a concert program organized by the creative teams of the Metallurg Palace of Culture.
