AGMK, within the framework of the investment project “Development of the Yoshlik-1 deposit”, which is of particular importance for the development of our republic and the well-being of the people, is currently rapidly implementing work on the construction of copper enrichment plant No. 3. Work has also begun long ago on the creation of a new metallurgical complex . Large megaprojects implemented at the plant are of great interest in many developed countries of the world.

As part of the ongoing megaprojects, mutually beneficial partnerships are being established with many foreign countries. It would not be an exaggeration to say that a clear confirmation of our words can be called the visit to AGMK of a delegation led by the US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Uzbekistan Jonathan Henick on May 1 of this year.

The guests were met by the Chairman of the Board of the Plant, Senator Abdulla Khursanov at the Metallurg Palace of Culture. Members of the delegation, who visited the miners' museum, also took a closer look at the history of the city of Almalyk and the enterprise.

The guests were shown a video about the activities of the plant.

During the visit, the delegation, which included representatives of the FLSmidth company, also visited the Qalmoqqir and Yoshlik-1 fields. The next location of the guests, who witnessed an interesting technological production process, was copper concentration factory No. 3.

Members of the delegation also visited the School of Engineering and took a closer look at its activities.

I am very glad that today I was able to visit the city of Almalyk and meet with the Chairman of the Board of the Plant, Senator Abdulla Khursanov. I did not have complete information about the plant. Today I received a lot of information about the rich history and activities of the plant, I have a lot of impressions. It turned out that the plant is a very important enterprise in Uzbekistan. Due to the foresight and attention of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, I was convinced that in the near future the plant will become the largest copper producer. I am very glad that the United States is cooperating with the plant. I see a huge number of opportunities for American companies in the future. For example, FLSmidth has long established cooperation with the plant. I wish the company to continue to prosper.

During meetings mutually beneficial for both parties, agreements were reached on further expansion of partnerships.
