On July 25 of the current year, a group of specialists from Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex visited a number of enterprises of “Uzeltehsanoat” Association.

AMMC is currently working with this association to discuss the local content of parts produced by powder metallurgy.

Specialists of the Complex and the association have developed a program according to which the Rare Metals and Hard Alloys Research and Production Association of AMMC will manufacture products using powder metallurgy.

Also, AMMC specialists, having visited a factory producing household appliances, studied which parts should be localized. The study found that one model of kitchen hood requires the production of 100,000 parts per year.

Currently, representatives of the Complex visit the enterprises of the association and form a list of parts subject to import phaseout. Once the list is ready, production of the required products will be set up at the RPA.

These works will be carried out under the program “Rare Metals and Hard Alloys Research and Production Association of Almalyk MMC JSC and mastering of new products”
