31 July 2023, 13:7 2417

In our country, human dignity and the interests of citizens are paramount. This principle underpins reforms in all spheres. These works are primarily aimed at achieving of the most important goal - ensuring a prosperous life for the Uzbekistan people.

As is known, the occupational health facility refers to the primary health care institutions, the main objectives of which are to reduce the risk of various pathologies, prevent the emergence of complications of existing diseases, reduce mortality rates and reduce the cost of hospital treatment, as well as the formation of citizens’ commitment to a healthy lifestyle.

Therefore, in order to improve the quality and efficiency of primary health care for the population, as well as to strengthen the role and status of health workers in society, a number of presidential decrees and resolutions are adopted in our country.

In order to implement these tasks Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex carried out works on capital reconstruction of the occupational health facility of the Council of Trade Union of Complex workers.

This facility has been serving the workers of AMMC since 1983. It has only been repaired once since then.

Today, July 31, a solemn opening ceremony of this facility was held, which was attended by the management of AMMC. Also during the event a group of construction workers and doctors were honored with valuable gifts.

12 billion UZ Soums were allocated for the reconstruction of the occupational health facility. Thanks to the reconstruction work, the building has acquired a modern look, and the rooms have become bright and cozy: the roof, facade, interior and exterior appearance have been completely renovated. The yard was paved, doors and windows have been replaced.

As the head of medical service of AMMC Abdujabbor Tukhtaboev noted, today the occupational health facility will provide services to three hundred employees in two shifts. The facility has a meeting room and a phyto bar, new modern elevator equipment.

The occupational health facility is equipped with all the necessary medical equipment for quality diagnostics of employees. These are a digital X-ray fluorography machine, ultrasound diagnostic equipment, high-precision equipment for detecting changes in the brain, etc.

At the same time, an electronic health care system will be introduced, with the help of which citizens who apply to a medical institution will be able to freely receive information about the medical services provided, get information about the attending doctors, and remotely book an appointment in an electronic queue.

The building availing the centralized exchange of electronic information, will now be powered from an alternative energy source - solar panels. In addition, the commissioning of a modern 30-bed inpatient hospital is envisaged.

Based on the request of the Ministry of Health, the occupational health facility of the AMMC Trade Union Council will be transformed into a digital polyclinic.
