For the period from January to April 2024, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Plant exported products for total $177.7 million, fulfilling the forecast in this direction by 105%.
In particular, during the reporting period, 15,653 tons of copper products, 9,372 tons of zinc products, and 242 tons of molybdenum products were exported.
The forecast indicators for the export of rhenium (220%), cadmium (100.4%), copper sulfate (145.8%), and lead concentrate (113.3%) were also met.
For reference: AMMC products are exported to more than 20 countries. Its geography is expanding from year to year. In particular, in 2023, new markets for the export of copper rod and copper sulfate will be developed – these are the United States of America, Mexico and Finland.
Today in the republic the issue of producing products from high-cost raw materials has been raised to the level of state policy. Due to the active development of the production of value-added products in our country, the demand for copper in the domestic market is growing day by day. And therefore, AMMC pays special attention to this issue.
