Oncological diseases often develop asymptomatically, without obvious signs, which makes it significantly difficult to detect them. The later the disease is diagnosed, the more difficult it is to treat, since the chances of successful recovery decrease depending on the stage. Oncological diseases in women are a particularly pressing problem. For their prevention, it is recommended to undergo a medical examination at least once a year.
The Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex is implementing a number of measures aimed at improving women's working conditions and protecting their health.
One of these measures is regular seminars organized jointly with the Tashkent regional branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology. Their goal is early detection and treatment of oncological diseases.
On January 28, another seminar was held at the Temiryuylchilar Cultural Center of the Industrial Railway Transport Department. Experienced oncologists, mammologists and gynecologists provided the participants with complete information about the risks, diagnosis and prevention of oncological diseases.
Specialists emphasized the importance of regular gynecological examinations, which help to identify diseases at an early stage. Such examinations allow timely detection of even minimal changes in cells, which makes it possible to begin treatment at an early stage, avoid complications and reduce the risk of relapse.
In addition, as part of the seminar, candidates of medical sciences, oncomammologist Mukaddas Tukhtabaeva and oncogynecologist Dilfuza Nabieva paid attention to the individual questions of the participants.
On the same day, oncologists held a practical seminar for employees of the medical and sanitary unit of the complex, doctors and nurses.
The purpose of such events is to increase awareness of workers about the first signs of oncological diseases, as well as to strengthen the role of doctors of the medical and sanitary unit in organizing effective medical examinations.
For reference: currently, about 7,600 women work at Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex.
