In recent years, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex has been actively introducing international experience into the process of training highly qualified personnel.

In particular, as part of the cooperation of the complex with the German company GERMAN INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE LLC, the Skills Expert Program project is being implemented, according to which representatives of the company visited AMMC on May 20 and 21.

On the first day, the guests visited production facilities of the complex: the workshops of the central mechanical repair plant, the Kalmakyr mine and the engineering school, where the plant's specialists told about the activities of the enterprise specializing in the extraction and processing of non-ferrous and precious metals, development prospects, the implementation of the investment project "Development of the Yoshlik I deposit", programs of localization, modernization, technical and technological re-equipment of production, as well as the introduction of a dual education system in the process of training highly qualified personnel.

On the second day, under the auspices of the training center of the complex at the premises of the engineering school, a seminar "Metalworking specialist" was held for representatives of the central mechanical repair plant and the Administration of specialized repair works, as well as the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical College.

The lecturers were experts in this field from German companies:  Anna Volivach and Sascha Hoffmann. The speakers covered topics such as Manufacturing of parts, Assembly of parts and assemblies, Control equipment, Component connection, Equipment Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Planning and organization of work, and Communication.

During the seminar, the specialists of the AMMC divisions, in turn, shared their skill secrets with the guests.

Such an exchange of work experience allows the seminar participants to enrich their knowledge, skills and abilities, which will undoubtedly be applied in their future professional activities.

It is planned that the AMMC employees who took part in the seminar will subsequently be able to transfer the new knowledge gained to their colleagues, which will give a positive result in improving the quality of manufactured products.
