Today, Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex consistently develops cooperation with educational institutions, focusing on training qualified specialists for the mining and metallurgical industries.

Currently, AMMC successfully collaborates with 26 higher education institutions. Of these, 10 are leading foreign universities, and 16 are the largest universities in Uzbekistan. In addition, close cooperation has been established with three technical schools.

To train modern and in-demand personnel, the Complex has created all the necessary conditions for on-the-job training, probation and advanced training for students and pupils.

Currently, 617 technical school students and 418 university students are undergoing internships at AMMC structural divisions, gaining valuable experience directly at production facilities.

Introductory practical training have been organized for an additional 900 students and pupils, allowing them to thoroughly study the production processes and operational features of the plant. Practical training were conducted for 183 professors and teachers, aimed at exchanging experience and improving their skills using modern technologies implemented at the plant.

One important result of this collaboration was the establishment of 14 branches of university departments at the Complex production sites. These sites serve as an effective tool for the two-way exchange of knowledge and practical experience.

The Complex specialists conduct topical seminars and practical classes for students, introducing future specialists to real-world production processes. In turn, university professors help the enterprise engineering and technical staff expand and refine their theoretical knowledge.

Complex places special emphasis on preparing young specialists for work in industrial production. For many years, the "Ustoz-shogird" (Mentor and Apprentice) mentoring system has been successfully operating here, based on the transfer of experience from masters of their craft to the younger generation.

Before starting the work, each trainee undergoes mandatory training in occupational health and safety and is provided with the necessary personal protective equipment. Each student and apprentice is assigned experienced company specialists who help them master their profession, share practical skills, and teach them how to work safely in a large-scale industrial setting.
